Description
This Request for Information (RFI) seeks to identify small businesses capable of performing an upgrade to the Building 27 Warehouse security system and access controls for the VA Central Iowa Health Care System. The work involves replacing existing card readers with new Hirsch Scrambleprox readers, installing motion detectors, and upgrading an interior double door with an automatic operator and ADA-accessible push button. All new devices and associated cabling must be integrated into the existing Hirsch access control system. Vendors must provide proof of Hirsch Group Certified System Integrator status. The Buy American Act applies to the supplies portion of the requirement, and vendors must include the place of manufacture for all items. The period of performance is thirty (30) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
