Description
The City of Ames is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the provision and installation of a variable frequency drive (VFD) for a high service pump (HSP). This project also includes all related work associated with the VFD installation at the Ames Water Treatment Plant. Contractors interested in this opportunity can schedule a site visit by contacting Laramie Heuser, P.E., Environmental Engineer, at 515-239-5584 or laramie.heuser@cityofames.org. All responses must be submitted before the deadline, and late responses will not be reviewed. Bids cannot be withdrawn for at least sixty days after the scheduled closing time. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and enter into contracts deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
