Description
The City of Center Point is soliciting sealed bids for citywide tow and recovery services covering lightweight vehicles, heavy trucks, construction and agricultural equipment, and other municipal equipment. The scope includes towing within and outside the city limits and Jefferson County, winching and rigging overturned or off-road units, and additional towing to a landfill when required. Bidders must provide equipment and workforce information, pricing by equipment category and service type, a $2,000 bid bond or acceptable equivalent, and specified business, insurance, E-Verify, debarment, and affidavit documentation. The resulting contract becomes effective upon award, may be used for additional services of the same type and scope within 12 months of bid opening by mutual agreement, and may be terminated by the City with 30 days' written notice.
