Description
The City of Richardson is soliciting bids for an annual requirements contract for outdoor litter removal at parks, athletic sites, trails, pavilions, public building grounds, parking lots, and related facilities. Services include visual inspection and removal of litter from turf, fence lines, athletic fields, restrooms, structures, landscape beds, playgrounds, pond and creek perimeters, wooded areas, pavilions, gazebos, plazas, parking lots, trails, and paved roads; emptying litter receptacles; supplying approved liners and dog-waste bags; cleaning picnic tables and grills; addressing illegal dumping; and servicing pavilion or gazebo areas before scheduled reservations. The contractor must provide crews, supervision, equipment, carts, vehicles with GPS tracking, lawful disposal, quality-control processes, service schedules, and responses to service calls within two hours during standard business hours. The estimated annual spend is approximately $285,000, with a 12-month initial term and four additional one-year renewal options. The City requires references, a completed questionnaire, pricing line items, certifications and supplemental forms, debarment and statutory prohibition certifications, and insurance documentation demonstrating required coverage. Required insurance includes commercial general liability, workers’ compensation/employer’s liability, automobile liability, and excess liability coverage, with specified limits and endorsements.
