Description
The City of Hendersonville is soliciting sealed bids for a complete HVAC replacement at City Hall. The contractor must furnish and install one 7.5-ton Trane packaged unit, one 3-ton Trane packaged unit, and three 4-ton Trane packaged units, including seismic curb adapters, electrical and mechanical connections, controls integration, startup, testing, commissioning, warranties, and all incidental work. The contractor must also remove and properly dispose of the existing equipment, obtain permits, coordinate inspections, protect and restore affected areas, and provide required closeout documentation. Before installation, the successful contractor must perform a formal structural analysis and engineering evaluation of the roof structure and equipment supports. The work includes up to six hours of crane service, with the City paying for that maximum allowance. Bidders must submit pricing, qualifications and company capability information, relevant equipment information, a proposed project schedule, license information, insurance evidence or proof of insurability, and the required bid forms. The project must commence within 10 days of the Notice to Proceed and be completed within 60 calendar days thereafter. Specified warranties include five years for parts, five years for compressors, and one year for labor.
