Description

This Sources Sought notice is a market research request, not a solicitation for proposals, and no contract will be awarded from this notice. The Navy is assessing industry capability for a potential firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity, performance-based contract supporting Marine Forces Reserve facilities in 48 states, Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, and Naval Reserve Centers and Navy installations within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Mid-Atlantic area of responsibility. The anticipated total contract term, including options, would not exceed 60 months. The anticipated scope includes collection, transportation, treatment, recycling, and disposal of hazardous, nonhazardous, universal, medical, electronic, petroleum-related, and other regulated wastes; waste characterization, sampling, laboratory analysis, profiling, manifests, compliance tracking, recordkeeping, reporting, and a customer-accessible web-based information system. Additional services include spill cleanup, lab packing and site cleanouts, parts washer services, oil-water separator and petroleum storage tank inspection and maintenance, radon testing and mitigation-system maintenance, environmental contaminant surveys, compressed-gas-cylinder inspections, stormwater best-management-practice maintenance, refrigerant recovery, and maintenance of regulated-waste facilities and associated systems. Respondents must submit a capabilities package of no more than 10 pages addressing relevant projects from the past five years, company profile and qualifications, business size/status, geographic capabilities, regulatory violations, and OSHA safety programs.
