Description
The California Department of General Services, Facilities Management Division, is soliciting as-needed services to remediate, decontaminate, package, label, haul, and dispose of bio-waste, asbestos and asbestos-containing materials, lead-containing materials, chemicals, and other hazardous waste from state properties. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, materials, containers, labels, transportation, and disposal services, and must use treatment, storage, and disposal facilities approved under California law. The work includes hazardous waste container removal and disposal, asbestos abatement and related demolition, emergency waste removal, hazardous waste manifesting, reporting, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements. Required qualifications include applicable California licenses and certifications, including C-22 asbestos abatement licensing, hazardous substance removal certification, and qualified asbestos personnel. The anticipated agreement term is 36 months, with rates remaining in effect for the full term.
