This Sources Sought notice seeks market research responses from firms capable of performing a potential firm-fixed-price construction contract for maintenance dredging of approximately 200,000 cubic yards from the Quinby Creek Federal navigation channel. The work would use a hydraulic cutterhead pipeline dredge, with dredged material hydraulically placed at a designated overboard placement site in Upshur Bay; the maximum contract pay depth would be -7 feet mean lower low water. The estimated construction magnitude is $5 million to $10 million. The anticipated period of performance is approximately 180 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed, with work commencing within 15 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Respondents must provide a concise narrative addressing their relevant dredging experience, dredged-material placement experience, proposed teaming structure, contract and bonding capacity, business size and socioeconomic categories, and familiarity with EM 385-1-1 safety and health requirements.
