Description
The City seeks construction and installation of direct-current fast-charging stations at the Madisonville, Hartwell, and Price Hill recreation centers. Work includes site preparation and restoration; concrete equipment pads, bollards, conduit, wiring, electrical panels and related equipment; charger installation; utility coordination; pavement markings and signage; and electrical and network connections. Chargers must provide at least 50 kW, support two vehicles simultaneously, and meet the specified accessibility, connectivity, and technical requirements. The base scope includes one charger at each site, with alternates for additional chargers and higher-capacity units. The contractor must also provide five years of continuous operations and maintenance, including uptime commitments, driver support, preventive maintenance, pricing and revenue management, and periodic data reporting. The bid package requires completed electronic pricing and forms, a bid surety, and a construction schedule; a statement of qualifications is due within three calendar days after bid opening. ODOT prequalification and a minimum 30% prime self-performance requirement apply.
