Description
The City seeks a contractor to furnish labor, equipment, and materials to remove two existing traffic signal installations and construct three new traffic signals at multiple locations. Work includes poles and foundations, signal and pedestrian heads, controllers, power service, wiring, conduit, fiber-optic cable and equipment, school flashers, radar detection, pavement markings, signage, curb ramps, sidewalk restoration, and site restoration. The contractor must also maintain traffic and pedestrian access, coordinate with utilities, and complete the work in accordance with the project plans and applicable city and state standards. The bid requires pricing for all listed commodity lines and a bid surety of at least 10% of the total bid. The contract requires 100% performance surety. The stated anticipated start date is March 22, 2027; the work is to be substantially complete within 270 days of the start of work.
