Description
This is the first phase of a two-phase competition for reconstruction of a floating dock approach. The work includes demolition and removal of the existing floating dock support crib, fencing, walking bridge, and marginal wharf; construction of new floating dock approach cribbing; and supply and installation of a new gangway. Uplands work shown in the drawings includes granular materials and riprap. Phase 1 requires qualification information demonstrating relevant marine construction experience, including two reference projects completed within the past seven years, and proof of active WorkplaceNL registration in good standing. Qualified offerors will be invited to submit a financial bid in Phase 2. The opportunity is open, but may become conditionally limited to eligible Indigenous businesses if at least two compliant Indigenous businesses qualify in Phase 1.
