Description
This is a synopsis for a forthcoming Invitation for Bid (IFB) for maintenance dredging of the Port Fourchon Navigation Channel in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. The work involves the removal and disposal of excavated material from the channel, with disposal occurring on the gulf beach west of the west jetty and/or east of the east jetty. The contract will be firm-fixed-price. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about April 7, 2026, with a bid opening date to be determined by amendment. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be eligible for award.
