Description
The Silver Lake Institute is requesting proposals from qualified architectural firms experienced in historic preservation to rehabilitate the John H. Stoody Memorial Hall, a National Register-listed historic property. The selected firm will provide schematic design, design development, permit-ready architectural and technical drawings, specifications, municipal and State Historic Preservation Office submissions, and assistance with contractor procurement. Services will also include contract administration and construction oversight, including site visits, review of pay applications, shop drawings and change orders, coordination with regulatory authorities, project closeout, and securing a new Certificate of Occupancy. The anticipated rehabilitation priorities include roofing and exterior restoration, historic window and door repairs, electrical and mechanical upgrades, ADA accessibility improvements, restroom and kitchen work, interior finish restoration, insulation, landscaping, and climate-control improvements. Proposals must include firm qualifications, key personnel, at least three relevant historic-preservation project examples, professional-qualification documentation, approach and methodology, phased fee information, and at least three client references.
