Description
The Naval Aerospace Medical Institute (NAMI) requires sustainment services for its three North American Rescue Simulation (NAR-S) Airframe Simulators (two H-60 and one CV-22). These simulators are critical for training flight medics in en route patient care within aircraft environments. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), North American Rescue, is the only entity with the necessary expertise, software, and certified parts to maintain these proprietary and integrated systems. The required services include diagnosing and troubleshooting system malfunctions remotely and on-site, repairing or replacing all integral electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical components, providing on-demand technical support, performing preventative maintenance, and applying software/firmware updates. The service provider must also document all maintenance actions. Key performance standards include maximizing operational availability, demonstrating timely responsiveness to service requests (acknowledgment within one business day for remote support, timely deployment for on-site repairs), providing comprehensive service covering all labor, parts (excluding consumables like batteries), and travel, and ensuring all actions are performed by OEM-certified technicians. The services will be performed on the existing simulators located at NAMI, NAS Pensacola. The period of performance is twelve consecutive months from the contract award date, with an initial system diagnostic report due within 30 days, periodic performance and maintenance reports as recommended by the manufacturer, and continuous on-demand support and repair throughout the contract term.
