Description
The City of Chesapeake Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department is seeking qualifications, excluding costs, from qualified park and open-space planning and multidisciplinary firms for project-based or on-call services. The scope includes park and system master planning, public engagement, grant application support, ADA accessibility planning, site assessments, schematic design, renderings, permitting, detailed landscape architecture and park design, construction documents, grading and drainage, pathways and trails, sports fields, playgrounds, planting and irrigation, signage, memorial and historic preservation, budget and bid support, pre-bid assistance, construction administration, site visits, inspections, submittal review, and punch-list services. The resulting contract will be an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity arrangement with no guaranteed volume. The initial term is one year, with up to three additional one-year renewals. The City may make multiple awards, and task orders will be distributed based on factors including availability, expertise, and experience. Proposals must be submitted as a single electronic PDF through the City's e-procurement portal and must include the specified qualifications, capabilities, methodology, references, licenses, insurance documentation, and required vendor information.
