Description
The Department of the Navy is soliciting a 4-inch valve with actuator, identified as NSN 4820-01-689-7105, under a firm-fixed-price requirement. The solicitation includes first-article testing and approval, inspection-system requirements, quality documentation, packaging requirements, and compliance with the applicable Individual Repair Part Ordering Data (IRPOD), drawings, specifications, and standards. Vendors must review the applicable IRPOD; technical documents are subject to password-controlled access, pre-registration, and restrictions on release to foreign nationals. The contractor must submit applicable reports of test and inspection electronically through the Wide Area Workflow platform. First-article approval is required before production, and applicable procedure, drawing, premanufacturing, and inspection-report packages must be submitted in accordance with the IRPOD and cited data-item descriptions. Alternate or replacement items require supporting technical data for evaluation. The solicitation requires the entire RFP to be completed and signed before the closing date and does not accept NECO offers.
