Description
The City of Chesapeake is soliciting bids for the purchase and installation of two 20-horsepower rotary screw air compressors with integrated or associated dryers, filtration, condensate treatment, controls, and ventilation. The system must provide 77.40 CFM at 160 PSI, include a compressor controller capable of programmable switching and load sharing, meet specified efficiency, protection, noise, air-quality, and filtration requirements, and comply with applicable ASME, NFPA 70, OSHA, and ISO 8573-1:2010 standards. The contractor must remove and relocate existing equipment, install the new compressors, dryers, piping, electrical connections, fused disconnects, conduit, wiring, condensate systems, control cabinet, thermostatic controls, and two 5,000-CFM exhaust fans. The scope also includes site assessment, testing and commissioning, startup, on-site personnel training, documentation, and post-installation support. Bidders must provide the required signature page, reference information, estimated delivery lead time, immigration-law certification, Virginia State Corporation Commission information, litigation disclosures, and applicable SWaM documentation. Delivery and installation are required within 60 days of contract award, and the equipment and installation must include at least a one-year warranty.
