Description
Chippewa Valley Schools is soliciting bids for two work categories at Dakota High School: synthetic turf replacement and running track surface renovation. Bidders may propose on either category individually or on both. The turf scope includes removing and replacing the existing synthetic turf and infill, related base and utility-box work, protective netting, inlaid markings for football, soccer, and boys’ and girls’ lacrosse, logos and lettering, maintenance equipment, and owner training. The track scope includes crack repairs, patching and resurfacing, a new base mat and structural spray surface, and track markings. The work includes associated labor, materials, equipment, testing, warranties, and closeout requirements. A 5% bid bond or cashier’s check is required with each bid. Successful bidders with bids of $50,000 or more must provide performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the bid. The project manual also requires three comparable project references and several completed affidavits and certifications with the bid. Bids are due by sealed delivery; emailed, faxed, and electronically transmitted bids are not accepted.
