Description
New Buffalo Area Schools is soliciting firm-fixed-price quotations for Category 1 Internet access and data transmission services with a minimum capacity of 2 Gbps and a potential capacity up to 5 Gbps. The requested solution includes installation and initial configuration, static IP addresses with a minimum /27 block, itemization of provider-owned connectivity equipment, web-based statistical analysis access, and end-to-end maintenance of equipment used to deliver the services. The solicitation requests a 99.97% uptime guarantee if available, a maximum four-hour service response time on a 24/7 basis, and separate itemization of any services or products that are not eligible for E-rate funding. Bidders must have an E-rate SPIN, maintain an active SAM.gov registration, and have the 2027 Service Provider Annual Certification Form 473 on file with USAC by September 1, 2027. Proof of workers' compensation insurance and proof of a $2 million liability insurance umbrella are required, with the latter specified upon award. The district may select more than one provider, may consider multi-year contracts, and will evaluate price, experience, understanding of needs, personnel qualifications, response completeness, and implementation capability.
