Description
The City of College Station is soliciting bids for the College Station Utilities Yard project, located at 1601 S. Graham Road. This project requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete site improvements. Key aspects include mobilization, permitting, utility locating, clearing and grubbing, and earthwork for an approximately 4.45-8.55-acre tract. The scope also involves rough and final grading to establish drainage patterns, regrading existing gravel areas, and constructing drainage improvements. Additionally, the project includes the installation of approximately 6-inch gravel pavement and 7-inch concrete pavement for yard areas and access drives, as well as coordination and protection of existing utilities. The contractor will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) with regular inspections. Final tasks include fine grading, site stabilization, removal of temporary erosion controls, site cleanup, and project closeout in compliance with all applicable local and state regulations. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
