Description
Texas State Technical College (TSTC) is seeking proposals for comprehensive landscaping and grounds maintenance services for its Fort Bend campus. The objective is to ensure the campus grounds are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional condition, supporting the college's environment. Services include routine maintenance such as mowing, edging, debris removal, weed control, turf and bed treatment, mulch installation, seasonal color changes, tractor shredding, drainage ditch mowing, pole yard mowing, and irrigation monitoring and repair. The anticipated initial service term is from September 2026 through August 31, 2029, with the option for TSTC to renew the agreement for up to two additional one-year periods. The supplier will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, and materials. The scope of work includes regular mowing, trimming, blowing, debris removal, weeding, and maintaining the overall appearance of the campus grounds. Specific services like shrub and hedge maintenance, turf and bed chemical programs, mulch application, seasonal color changeouts, tractor shredding, and drainage ditch mowing are detailed, with specified frequencies and estimated areas. An optional walkthrough for suppliers is scheduled for July 1, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. CST, beginning at the Transportation Technology Center. While not mandatory, attendance is encouraged. Suppliers interested in attending should notify TSTC by 4:00 p.m. CST on June 30, 2026. Proposals must be submitted through the Workday portal, and all inquiries should be posted to the event's Q&A Board within the portal.
