Description
The City of Faribault is soliciting bids for Contract 2025-07, 2025 Miscellaneous Watermain Improvements. The work includes abandoning approximately 4,430 linear feet of watermain; installing approximately 5,528 linear feet of 8-inch HDPE DR 11 IPS watermain by horizontal directional drilling; installing 62 linear feet of 16-inch steel casing pipe; completing approximately 1,156 square yards of bituminous patching; and installing approximately 990 linear feet of silt fence and 1,960 square yards of seeding with rolled erosion prevention. Work must comply with the MnDOT Standard Specifications for Construction—2020 Edition, City Engineers Association of Minnesota Standard Specifications—2023 Edition, and the project special provisions. Only registered planholders may bid. Bids must be submitted electronically through bidVAULT; hard-copy bids are not accepted. A corporate surety bond in favor of the City of Faribault for at least 5% of the total bid amount is required.
