Description
Dakota County is seeking a contractor for 2027–2029 fire extinguisher services at County facilities. The scope includes annual inspections, six-year internal examinations, five-year hydrostatic testing, recharging, and provision of inspection tags. The contractor must provide low, standard, urgent, and emergency response levels, ranging from service when available to response within four hours. The contract has a maximum value of $175,000 and covers labor, materials, travel, and related charges. The solicitation requires a pricing sheet with rates for inspections, travel, materials, recharging, hydrostatic testing, replacement extinguishers, and related services. Contractors may use subcontractors for work outside their scope, while remaining responsible for subcontractor performance. Proposals must include company information, team organization, qualifications and experience, a work plan and budget, conflict-of-interest information, exceptions, and the required pricing sheet.
