Description
New Deal Independent School District is soliciting proposals for E-Rate-eligible Category One dedicated, fully managed, symmetrical Internet access at New Deal High School. Proposals must price 1 Gbps and 2 Gbps options and contract terms of 12, 36, and 60 months, with up to two optional one-year renewal periods. The service must include at least 1 Gbps of bandwidth, a minimum of 30 static public IPv4 addresses, Ethernet handoff, proactive monitoring, 24/7 network operations center support, installation, configuration, testing, activation, and an enforceable service-level agreement. A managed router, licensing, maintenance, monitoring, and support must be included if required. Basic firewall and DNS capabilities, IPv6 capability if available, and bandwidth reporting should also be addressed and separately itemized where applicable. Each proposal must include the applicant name, billed entity number, FCC Form 470 number, service provider name and SPIN, provider contact information, terms and conditions, and a completed pricing worksheet. Pricing must separately identify monthly recurring charges, non-recurring charges, special construction, installation, configuration, shipping, taxes, fees, licensing, warranty costs, eligible and ineligible components, and any tariff exposure. Proposals must also describe the SLA, implementation approach, compliance with FCC and E-Rate requirements, invoicing capability, supply-chain compliance, and relevant vendor experience. The proposal must remain valid for at least 180 days, and late or unauthorized submissions may be disqualified.
