Description
The City of Lubbock is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for construction of the Highland Oaks Water Line. The selected contractor must furnish all labor, materials, supplies, machinery, equipment, supervision, insurance, and other resources necessary to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. The project has an estimated construction-phase budget of $5,783,000. Construction must reach substantial completion within 240 consecutive calendar days and final completion within 270 consecutive calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Proposals are evaluated on price, contractor qualifications, and construction time. Required proposal materials include the City’s proposal submittal/bid form, bid security, safety record questionnaire, insurance affidavit, proposed subcontractor list, contractor’s statement of qualifications, non-collusion affidavit, and required electronic bid-table information. A performance bond and payment bond are required after award when the applicable contract-value thresholds are met.
