Description
The Florida Department of Juvenile Justice is soliciting continuing Construction Management at Risk services under a regional area contract covering Florida's Northwest, Northeast, Central, and South regions. Selected firms will provide construction management for minor construction, remodeling and repair of occupied buildings, tenant improvements at juvenile or correctional detention facilities, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical upgrades, re-glazing, waterproofing, and security detention door installation. Projects may range from less than $35,000 to $7,725,000, with the possibility of larger projects up to statutory thresholds. Respondents must demonstrate qualified subcontractor capability across required trades, provide workers meeting Florida Department of Law Enforcement criminal-history background-check requirements, provide required contractor licensing and corporate-registration documentation, and submit bonding and payment-protection documentation. The contract is for three years with one optional three-year renewal period. The updated package includes a vendor region selection list and committee score spreadsheets evaluating applicants across the Northwest, Northeast, Central, and South regions; the solicitation remains open through October 26, 2026.
