Description
The Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES and its Component School Districts are soliciting bids for the supply of fresh fruits and vegetables. This cooperative bid aims to establish prices for these items for the contract term of September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027, with the possibility of two one-year extensions. Vendors will be responsible for ensuring a complete and reliable supply of satisfactory products to all participating entities across designated delivery regions. Bidders must comply with all specifications, including providing required documentation such as a New York State Department of Agricultural & Markets certificate as a Farm Products Dealer License and a Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) certification. Pricing will be based on the vendor's cost plus an awarded percentage, with initial pricing firm for the first sixty days and weekly adjustments thereafter. Vendors are also encouraged to source products from New York State farms, with a geographic preference applied during bid evaluation.
