Request for Information: Fresh Fruits, Vegetables, and Shell Eggs for New England Zone

The DLA Troop Support Agency's Subsistence Produce Program is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather feedback on its current full-line fresh fruit and vegetable (FF&V) support for Department of War (DoW) military personnel and USDA Schools customers in the New England region, including tribes in Maine. The agency is contemplating issuing an indefinite quantity contract (IQC) for FF&V and shell eggs (if required) to DoW troops, USDA schools, and tribes in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. The contemplated solicitation will divide the New England zone into five groups, with one award per group. Offerors are expected to support all customers within a group for which they submit a proposal and must propose on all items listed in the Schedule of Items. The agency is also interested in feedback regarding the layout of the zones, the feasibility of servicing all customers within a group, and any potential subcontracting needs. Offerors will be required to interface with the Subsistence Total Order and Receipt Electronic System (STORES) for DoD customers and the Fresh Fruit & Vegetables Order & Receipt System (FFAVORS) for USDA customers.
