Description
The City of San Antonio is soliciting construction services for improvements along South Flores Street between Commerce Street and Martin Street. The work includes generally removing and replacing curbs, narrowing the street, widening sidewalks, carefully removing sidewalks over basements, applying waterproofing, and replacing sidewalks. Two sidewalk locations over basements will require demolition and reconstruction with new supporting understructures, and sidewalk topping will be installed from Commerce Street to Houston Street. The project also includes minor street reconstruction; milling and overlaying most of the roadway; installing concrete bus pads, signage, and lane markings; installing new traffic signals from Houston Street to Martin Street; replacing the storm sewer trunkline from Flores Street to Camaron Street; removing and replacing inlets at Flores Street and Salinas Street; and installing street trees and irrigation. Bids must be submitted online through CivCast.
