Description
The U.S. Department of State, through U.S. Embassy Nassau, is conducting a Request for Information to identify available health and group life insurance plans for approximately 80 employees ages 18–75. The requested life insurance capabilities include basic coverage, accident coverage, and disability coverage. Health insurance information should address individual and family plans, hospitals and provider networks, coverage limits, premiums, deductibles, coinsurance, international coverage, claims processing, reimbursement, direct payment, enrollment, certificates, and policy modifications. Respondents are asked to submit a white paper describing their current capabilities and answering as many of the listed questions as possible; premium costs and rates are not requested. Responses may not exceed 100 pages or 5 MB per email, and multiple emails are permitted if clearly numbered. This is strictly market research: it is not a request for proposals or quotations, and no contract award will result from this announcement. Subcontracting is not allowed, and qualified local companies licensed to perform the services in Nassau will receive more favorable consideration.
