Description
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is soliciting bids for 160 new, unused chemical flow meters and associated equipment, including transmitters, accessories, and equipment specified in the data sheets and equipment table. The meters must meet the detailed performance, material compatibility, accuracy, and configuration requirements; Rosemount magnetic flow meters or an approved equal are acceptable. Manufacturer data sheets, outline drawings, and other specified technical data must accompany the bid. Installation is excluded. The bid price must include delivery, freight prepaid, to the designated destination. Delivery is required as soon as the equipment is available and no later than 120 days after receipt of order. The manufacturer’s standard warranty applies, with the specification also requiring a minimum one-year service guarantee, not extending beyond two years after delivery is complete. Bids are evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price; applicable small-business, disabled-veteran-business, and regional-business incentives may affect evaluation.
