Description
The City is conducting market research on advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) solutions that can support approximately 30,000 electric endpoints, 24,000 natural gas endpoints, and 24,000 water endpoints. Vendors should be prepared to discuss endpoint compatibility, communications architecture, interoperability, head-end and analytics capabilities, integrations, cybersecurity, implementation, and edge-computing use cases, as well as product roadmaps and future readiness. Interested vendors must submit a company profile describing at least two comparable multi-commodity AMI deployments and confirm their ability to deliver the required 2.5-hour presentation agenda. Selected vendors may be invited to present to City staff. This is an information-gathering RFI only; no contract will be awarded from it.
