Jefferson County, Missouri is requesting proposals for the installation of an incinerator at the Sheriff's Office located at 510 First Street, Hillsboro, MO 63050. The scope includes installation and connection of all power and control circuits from the incinerator to the power/gas source, all necessary equipment to place the incinerator on a concrete pad and anchor it to the slab, and all excavation needed for the pad and buried electrical/gas conduits if a pad is included. The incinerator must have a minimum batch load capacity of 400 lbs, a minimum 12 cu. ft. chamber volume, no visible emissions or odors, a timer control system for burners, and a natural gas connection. The contractor must also provide complete system startup and testing, including a full power fail simulation, and include all shipping and delivery costs. A 12 ft x 14 ft concrete pad is preferred but not required. The contract term is upon approval by the County Council and County Executive, with an option to renew for one additional one-year term.
