Description
Jefferson County Department of Public Works is requesting a consulting engineering firm for the Lonedell Road Safety Improvements Project, covering approximately 1.08 miles from Old State Route 21 to Forest View. The estimated construction cost is $2,500,000, with funding from the Surface Transportation Block Grant Program. Required services include roadway engineering, surveying, environmental and archaeological studies as needed, geotechnical investigations, preliminary and final construction plans, right-of-way and easement plats, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates. The selected consultant will also provide limited construction engineering services, including right-of-way staking, post-construction pin setting, shop-drawing and material-certification review, drawing revisions, and responses to contractor and County requests for information. Respondents must submit a Letter of Interest limited to four pages, along with or having on file a Statement of Qualifications, an Affidavit of Compliance with the federal work authorization program, and a company E-Verify Memorandum of Understanding. Five copies of the Letter of Interest are required.
