Description
Jefferson County, Missouri, is soliciting proposals for installation of an incinerator at the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. The system must have a minimum batch-load capacity of 400 pounds, a minimum chamber volume of 12 cubic feet, no visible emissions or odors, timer-controlled burners, a required natural-gas connection, and complete startup and testing, including a full power-failure simulation. Shipping and delivery costs must be included. Bidders may optionally include installation and connection of power and control circuits, placement and anchoring of the incinerator on a concrete slab, and construction of a 12-by-14-foot concrete pad with associated excavation and buried electrical or gas conduits. Proposals require one original and two copies, along with specified affidavits, certifications, insurance documentation, the completed proposal and cooperative bid forms, and all solicitation pages initialed.
