Description
The Town of Killingly, Connecticut, is soliciting sealed proposals for the supply and delivery of Silicone Dioxide Defoamer in 55-gallon barrels. This product is intended for use at the Killingly Water Pollution Control Facility (KWPCF). The anticipated annual consumption is approximately 12 barrels, with deliveries typically in quantities of 2 barrels per shipment. The contract will have an initial term of 12 months, beginning July 1, 2026, with the option for two additional one-year renewals. Bidders are required to provide pricing per pound delivered, including transportation, handling, and all incidental charges. The contractor must ensure product quality, freshness, and compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations, including providing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/SDS) with each delivery. The contractor must also be licensed and permitted to transport hazardous materials and possess relevant HAZMAT endorsements. The Town reserves the right to reject any bids and to waive informalities.
