Description
The City of Sumter is seeking sealed bids for chemicals to be used in their water and wastewater treatment plants for Fiscal Year 2027. The solicitation includes various chemicals such as Chlorine, Sodium Silica Fluoride, Soda Ash, Sodium Hypochlorite, and Liquid Alum. Specific quantities, descriptions, and delivery locations for each chemical are detailed in the attached "CHEMICAL BIDSHEET". Prices quoted must be valid from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, and must include freight. Vendors must also provide NSF approval, chemical analysis, and a list of current customers with phone numbers. Additionally, the City of Sumter has a separate solicitation for lab parameters and waterworks supplies for the same fiscal year.
