Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Acquisition Center (NAC) intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for commercial industrial laundry equipment for the Raymond G. Murphy Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in Albuquerque, NM. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The requirement includes the furnishing and installation of a medium production steam flatwork ironing system. This system comprises a spreader-feeding machine, a steam-heated flatwork ironer, and a four-lane combination folder-cross folder with a large piece stacker and conveyor. Key features include color touchscreen controls, self-testing capabilities, fault display, built-in diagnostics, and Ethernet connectivity for troubleshooting. The delivery timeframe, including installation and training, is 120 days from the date of award.
