Description
The James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital in Tampa, Florida, requires the replacement of aging commercial laundry equipment. The existing washers and dryers are experiencing frequent failures, leading to operational inefficiencies, increased maintenance costs, and the need to transport laundry offsite. This procurement aims to acquire modern, energy-efficient commercial-grade washers, dryers, and associated bases that meet or exceed the specified Basis of Design and VA standards. The new units will ensure reliable performance, operational efficiency, and compliance with VA infection control and environmental standards, thereby reducing downtime and lowering maintenance costs. All equipment must be compatible with VA facility operations and comply with applicable codes and VA standards. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, delivery, and accessories necessary to furnish the new equipment. Delivery and installation are required within 30 days after receipt of order.
