Description
The Town of Kershaw is soliciting bids for construction of the Lynches River Waterline Bore project. The work includes approximately 320 linear feet of 12-inch ductile-iron waterline, partially installed within 120 linear feet of 24-inch steel casing pipe using jack-and-bore methods; 182 linear feet of 12-inch PVC waterline; one fire hydrant; and all necessary appurtenances to replace the existing bridge-mounted 10-inch waterline. The successful bidder must furnish bid security in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, begin work upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed, and complete the work within 150 calendar days. Progress payments will be made monthly based on the contractor's applications for payment. Detailed bid-submittal, qualification, procedural, and award requirements are contained in the Instructions to Bidders and other bidding documents.
