Description
This solicitation is for roof-related sheet metal work at Center Street Elementary School in the El Segundo Unified School District. The scope includes fabrication and installation of metal perimeter edge, gutters, downspouts, splash blocks and pans, copings, counterflashings, and miscellaneous sheet metal accessories. The work must conform to applicable building codes, SMACNA standards, and NRCA guidelines. Materials include prefinished aluminum sheet (minimum 0.040 inch thick) with Kynar 500 or Hylar 5000 finish, stainless steel fasteners, and related sealants and adhesives. The contractor must provide shop drawings, product data, and samples for approval. A single source contractor is required, and the installer must be the same as the membrane roof installer. The warranty includes a 20-year manufacturer's finish warranty and a 5-year contractor's workmanship warranty.
