Description
The Navy seeks replacement and upgrade of the hoist and electrical systems on an existing bridge crane. Work includes providing and installing a 3-ton wire-rope hoist with motorized trolley and variable-frequency-drive controls, new control panels and pendant controls, new bridge and traveling pendant festoons, and 150 feet of four-bar runway electrification with a new collector pole and four double-shoe collectors. The contractor must also replace the bridge motor and brake assembly, connect the hoist to government-provided power, and provide engineering drawings and supporting documentation after award. The scope includes removal of existing equipment, installation labor, rigging and off-loading, freight, and onsite operations and maintenance training. The contractor must provide NAVFAC P-307-certified personnel and two hard-copy sets plus one electronic set of maintenance manuals. Government inspection and 125% load testing will occur after installation and startup. Quotes must include a sufficiently detailed technical description, price, and a capabilities statement of no more than three pages. CMMC Level 1 self-assessment is required before award. Attendance at the site visit is mandatory to be eligible to bid.
