The Rhode Island Fire Training Academy is seeking one triple-combination pumper fire truck, also known as a fire pumper apparatus. The vehicle must be manufactured to the NFPA 2024 Standard and include a 300- to 500-gallon water tank, preferably at the smaller capacity, a Class A fire pump rated at 1,250 to 1,500 gallons per minute, compliant emergency lighting, a low-profile hose bed, reinforced running boards and tailboard, seating for six, and specified hose-storage capacity. The purchase also includes NFPA loose equipment identified in the NFPA 1900, 2024 Edition appendix table A.8.4, mounting hardware for specified tools, graphics similar to other Academy apparatus, and one factory inspection trip for two Academy representatives. No two-way radio or separate foam tank is required.
