Description
The City of Pontotoc is seeking a qualified engineering firm or individual to support an application for a water infrastructure project potentially funded by the Appalachian Regional Commission, Community Development Block Grant, or other federal funding agencies. The initial scope includes preparing a preliminary cost estimate and preliminary engineering report. If the project receives grant funding, the engineer will prepare plans and specifications, distribute bid documents, assist with bid opening and bid tabulation, assist with construction contract execution, hold a preconstruction conference, and perform construction inspection with periodic reports and approval of payment requests. Proposals will be evaluated based on qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance. The resulting contract will be fixed-price and subject to grant award and removal of environmental conditions.
