Description
The City of Tupelo is soliciting construction bids for drainage improvements along the intersection of Industrial Road and Main Street. The work includes approximately 600 feet of 48-inch cured-in-place pipe lining and other appurtenant items, with defined quantities specified in the contract documents. Each bid must include bid security equal to 5% of the total bid in the form of a satisfactory bid bond, certified check, or bank draft. Bids exceeding $50,000 must display the contractor’s current certificate of responsibility number, or state on the envelope that the bid does not exceed $50,000. Minority- and woman-owned business enterprises are solicited as prime contractors and encouraged to pursue subcontracting opportunities.
