Description
SUNY Upstate Medical University is seeking qualifications from an architectural and engineering team to provide full design services for approximately 12,728 square feet of University Hospital basement space and related first-floor clinical areas. The scope includes programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding support, and construction administration for clinical and administrative space supporting radiology-managed services. The project includes three new nuclear therapy rooms and associated shielding, utilities, equipment support, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, life-safety, architectural finishes, infection-control planning, BIM/CAD deliverables, and coordination with specialty system vendors. Firms and team members must demonstrate at least 10 years of experience designing Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Therapy, and Radiology Support spaces. The response must address qualifications, relevant experience, personnel, references, approach, subconsultants, licensing, and required New York State certifications and participation documentation. No cost proposal is due with the qualifications package; fees will be negotiated with the highest-ranked consultant.
