Description
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is seeking qualified firms to provide professional radio communications engineering and design services on a task-order basis for a four-year term. Services may include engineering studies, field inspections, preliminary and final designs, contract drawings, technical specifications, construction cost estimates and schedules, FCC licensing support, and post-award services. The scope covers trunked, simulcast, conventional, land-mobile, distributed antenna, wireless backhaul, fiber-optic RF transport, police dispatch, digital logging, microwave radio, and operations command-and-control systems. Firms must demonstrate relevant staff and project experience, provide licensed engineering personnel, and satisfy security-screening requirements. The solicitation may result in multiple awards, with future services issued through task orders.
