Description
The Village of Oak Lawn is soliciting construction bids for rehabilitation of approximately 10,300 linear feet of existing 8-inch and 10-inch sanitary sewer. The work includes mobilization, sewer cleaning, closed-circuit television inspection, removal of protruding lateral tap obstructions, chemical sealing of service connections, full-length cured-in-place sewer lining, lateral reinstatement, sewer bypass pumping, and related excavation point repairs. Roadway, curb, sidewalk, driveway, pavement-marking, seeding, and restoration work may also be required where disturbed by construction. Bidders must submit unit prices for the listed work and include a $20,000 cash allowance for excavation point repairs. The bid requires 10% bid security, qualifications and certification forms, evidence of licensing or authority to do business in Illinois, financial and safety documentation, and applicable insurance documentation. Addendum No. 1 adds chemical seal service quantities for sewer segments on Keeler Avenue and at Komensky Avenue and Pulaski Avenue. The successful contractor must furnish performance and payment bonds, maintain required insurance, comply with Illinois prevailing-wage requirements, and complete the work by April 24, 2027, with final completion by May 1, 2027.
