Description
Decatur County Board of Education is seeking a single qualified design-builder to provide architectural, engineering, preconstruction, and construction services for Bainbridge High School athletic facilities. The scope includes a new multipurpose facility with a weight-training area, dressing areas, restrooms, lockers, and a conditioned synthetic-turf field; construction of a tennis complex with eight existing and eight new courts, spectator and player seating, a concession/restroom/storage building, and a decorative entrance; resurfacing the track and addressing drainage; and renovating and expanding the fieldhouse with locker rooms for 120 players, additional showers, coach work areas, team meeting space, upgraded mechanical systems, a nutrition room, physical training room, equipment room, and connecting breezeway. The selected firm must coordinate design and construction documents through Georgia Department of Education review and approval, provide cost estimates and preconstruction services, develop an open-book Guaranteed Maximum Price after design, and perform construction services. Proposals must include qualifications, project-team information, Georgia licensing and engineering details, legal-grievance disclosures, relevant design-build references, technical approach, project-management and implementation plans, subcontractor and material-selection processes, owner training, and the required fee proposal using Exhibit A. The solicitation requests four hard copies and one electronic copy by memory stick or email.
