Description
The Princeton Electric Plant Board solicitation covered the turnkey installation of 61 steel utility poles and reconductoring of approximately 27,350 linear feet of wire on Eagle Street, Market Street, Main Street, and Highway 62. The scope included pole setting, guying, framing, conductor stringing, traffic control, safety compliance, quality assurance, coordination with utility personnel, and related design, electrical, mechanical, permitting, and engineering-approval responsibilities. Materials were to be provided by the Board, while the contractor was responsible for installation and associated work. Performance was to begin after January 1, 2027, and be completed within six months of the start date. The project was subject to applicable electrical and safety codes, Davis-Bacon prevailing-wage requirements, and federal grant compliance requirements. The opportunity has been cancelled and is no longer accepting proposals. The planned submission package included an online cost bid table, qualification and technical materials, references, a subcontractor list, basis of pricing, required certifications and confirmations, proof of active SAM.gov registration, and a drug-free workplace policy.
